Our recent Library Week Term 3 was a huge success, bringing excitement and fun to reading throughout the school.
Lucky Dip Fun
The highlight of the week was our “Prize Every Time” lucky dip for just 10 SCR. Students loved trying their luck and walking away with:
- Comic books and illustrated stories
- Coloring sets and art supplies
- Pens, pencils, and stationery
- Reading-related prizes
The best part? Everyone was guaranteed to win something, making it accessible and fun for all students.
Dress-Up Days
Students enjoyed wearing their own clothes during Library Week, with many choosing to show off their favorite cartoon characters on t-shirts and casual wear. The relaxed dress code added to the festive atmosphere and helped create a special feeling around reading celebration.
Reading Everywhere
Throughout the week, we noticed more students reading during breaks, sharing books with friends, and getting excited about new stories. The library was busier than usual, with students exploring different types of books and discovering new favorites.
Library Week showed that when we make reading fun and celebrate it as a community, students naturally become more engaged with books and stories.
